What Are You Reading?

Today is Monday, April 5, 2010...what are you reading while you enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of spring?  As always, today's edition of It's Monday, What Are You Reading? is hosted by the Spring Queen, Sheila, from One Person's Journey Through a World of Books.

I am still a little fuzzy from lack of sleep - my little guy had strep, and now has a virus with a fever so high it's causing night terrors.  Needless to say, I have spent the last several nights fetching water, piggybacking Tylenol and Motrin, turning on extra night lights, and giving his stuffed Puppy super magical protection powers.  He's a tough little guy...and I'm a walking zombie.

Due to my zombie-like state, I have not been able to read anything heavy that requires a whole lot of attention.  This is where YA and Stephanie Plum come to my rescue!

I've only seen Language of Secrets on one other blog and I'm sorry to say the blogger didn't love it. I had seen it at Borders and loved the cover and the synopsis, so I was disappointed to know that. But maybe you'll like it. I'll be back to see, because you never know, right? Everyone's different :)

Have a great week of reading. Lynne's Book Reviews

I had been meaning to read Janet Evanovich's SP series for a while now and had been very curiuos for its setting in NJ -- is that right? I think I have to target the first book by this month at least. Now it's time to go to the library or maybe own my first JE book.

Have fun this week Alison and hope you'll enjoy your reading time.

Sorry to hear about your little guy. Night terrors are horrible, there is nothing you can do, but listen to them scream. My 3-year old daughter is going through a phase of night terrors, I do not like them, she does not remember them.

I hope your kiddo gets well soon which then means you will get some sleep.

I have heard good things about Stieg Larsson's books. You have reminded me that I want to read the first book in this series.

Black Hills is another book that I want to read, I hope you like it.

I wish you a healthy, and rested week.

I am intrigued by your titles...I also liked your tidbit about the upcoming movie based on Something Borrowed. I haven't read that one yet...but soon.

I also want to read The Language of Secrets.

Here's my week:
