What are You Reading?

For some reason, this post did not post yesterday...as I am just realizing today.  So, no, today is not Monday...but roll with it, okay?  Thanks!
Today is Monday, May 17, 2010...and I HAVE A NEW NIECE!!!  I am tickled pink by the arrival of Lyla Elizabeth!!

I had to get that out.  Now, back to business.

As always, let's give a great big Good Monday to our lovely host, Sheila, at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books.  Good Monday, Sheila!!

It's been a solid month since my last What Are You Reading, and I have lots to catch up on.  That being said, I read several hefty books, so while my list of completed books might look sparse, the page count is way high.

Congrats on being an aunt!

Just finished Someday This Pain Will Be Useful To You by Peter Cameron (review posted on The Book Book) and then went to the library this evening to re-stock (can I just say I was pleasantly surprised by how many locals were hanging out at my library tonight? loverly!).

My current 2BRead pile consists of (in no particular order):
Just Listen by Sarah Dessen
Heist Society by Ally Carter
Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles
The Boy Who Couldn't Sleep and Never Had To by D.C. Pierson
Messed Up by Janet Nichols Lynch

Yes, they're all YA, even the one I just reviewed. Which kind of irks me somewhat because all the SF I've picked up lately has not been good enough/interesting enough for me to finish, and SF is usually my fave. Argh! Where have all the good SF novels gone? Someone--PLEASE--tell me!

Congratulations, AunAnd I loved Frindle - we saw it as a play after we read the book, and it was even better in visual (amazingly).
