What Are You Reading?

Today is Monday, July 12, 2010...What Are You Reading?

This meme is being hosted by the Josie to our Pussycats, the Diana to our Supremes, the Courtney Love to our Hole (oh, wait that doesn't sound right), it's Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books
Sing us a tune, Sheila!

The summer is a little crazy, and my time is NOT my own; so, I can't promise that I will be doing this meme every week, but I will do my best.

Books I Completed Last Week (and maybe the week before):
NO judgement on reading Eclipse for the 5th time.  I had to prepare for the movie...which I will review.  I am trying to find someone to see it with me (ahem..again..ahem).

Books I Am Currently Reading:

Books I Plan to Read This Week (and probably the week after, and maybe the week after that...here's the line up):

So, talk to me, book people, what are YOU reading??

What are your KIDS reading??

Is there a book that has caught your eye, but I haven't reviewed yet?

Picture the Dead sounds good. Did you enjoy it?

I'm finally reading Suite Francaise. I've had it forever. I finished 3 books last week and reviewed them on my blog (http://mytrampolinelife.blogger.com). I only have 3 weeks of summer reading left since school is starting back (I teach) and I'm starting graduate school. I better get busy.

*sighs* wish I could read as much as you are...

You had what appears to be a great week , I did not recognise most titles. This week I do. Philippa Gregory is a brilliant writer and you chose good picks. Happy reading. My Monday can be found here: http://www.rundpinne.com/2010/07/its-monday-what-are-you-reading-3.html

THE REST OF HER LIFE, Laura Moriarty (Hyperion, 2007)
I'm currently at the half-way point, and still loving it. :)

There are a lot of good books on your list. I cant' wait to see what you think of The Language of Trees.

You have Sapphique! So lucky! I'm currently reading Sky is Everywhere. It's beautiful but it makes me want to jump off a cliff b/c it's so sad.

OH! I'm SO jealous of you right now!! (For some reason, however, I think I have "Picture the Dead" on it's way to me ... or?!? Hmmm ... I'm going to have to look in my notebook for it to see what notes I've taken on it. Eclipse was my favorite of the Twilight novels...AND I have "Shiver" and "Linger" on my must-buy list for my Not-So-Bebe Girl (and later, of course, for my OWN reading pleasure). The Language of Trees is, I've heard, a totally soul-touching book. AND .. oh, my gosh, if "The White Queen" and "The Red Queen" showed up in my box, I'd have to drop EVERYthing else to read them! Awesome week for you!

@Sheila - I'm tone-deaf, so next to me anything you sing will sound great. Thanks for the book name!

Nikki-Ann- Unfortunately, I didn't love it. Review to come, keep your eyes open in about two weeks.

@Okbolover - These are the books I WISH to read in the next week or two...we'll see how much I actually get done, and how distracted I become!

@bermudaonion - Language of Trees is starting to pick up.

@Alison - I didn't know Sky Is Beautiful was sad. I try not to read reviews before I pick up a book...if I can avoid it.

jewelknits - We like a lot of the same books! I want to finish White Queen and Red Queen before I see my mother-in-law next month since she's a huge Gregory fan.

You have great books lined up. I've read Thirteen Reasons Why-- loved it. 4/5. Also, I ordered The Sky is Everywhere, so I'll be reading that one in a week or two. :) I'm so excited! I've heard it's beautiful, sad, hopeful and just amazing.

Also, I love the Pretty Little Liars series (both TV and book, I read books before TV)...uh, I hope you enjoyed it. It's addictive. I'll also be getting Linger to read. I haven't read Shiver yet, so I'll probably dedicate a week to reading those two. :S
