Review: Dog Loves Books by Louise Yates

Something special for book lovers of all ages!

Dog loves books.  He loves them so much that he opens his own bookstore.  Soon, he realizes that the only thing he loves more than books is sharing them and inspiring others to read!

When I read this book with The 5 Year Old, the only critisicm I could think of was that I liked the book more than he did!  He loved Louise Yate's illustrations the best, but I loved the message.  As a book lover, it gave me that warm fuzzy feeling that few books do.

The first thing I thought of after I finished reading Dog Loves Books was all the people in my life, both young and old, that would adore this book.  Teachers, especially will love sharing this book with their students.

A great gift, a touching message and a wonderful book.  I loved Dog Loves Books!

Here are my favorite pages:

I'm sure I would have loved this book as a kid. Hey, the premise itself has won me over as an adult! The pictures sure are charming too. How nice it is to read with a child.
