What Are You Reading?

Today is Monday, June 6, 2011...What Are You Reading?

Last week I was lucky enough to attend BEA (Book Expo America) 2011, which I will recap in greater detail this week.  Before I do so, I must say that I shared many of the greatest moments of BEA week with Sheila (Book Journey), the hostess of It's Monday! What Are You Reading?  From my first day on the convention floor to my last chat in the hallway, Sheila was there.  In a sea of so many unfamiliar faces, BEA can be extremely overwhelming.  Sheila always made me feel welcome, and always managed to pop up just when I needed her the most.

Thank you, Sheila!

Now, on to my books!

(It is also Book Audio Week...stay tuned for separate post)

Books I read this Week:

Witches of East End by Melissa De La Cruz (6/21/11, Hyperion)
Abandon by Meg Cabot (4/26/11, Scholastic)
Lucia, Lucia by Adriana Trigiani (6/29/04, Random House)
The Future of Us by Jay Asher and Carolyn Mackler (11/21/11, Razorbill)

Book I am Currently Reading:

Sirenz by Charlotte Bennardo and Natalie Zaman (6/8/11, Flux)

Book I am Currently LISTENING to:

Bossypants by Tina Fey (4/5/11, HachetteAudio)

Books I'm Planning on Reading/Hearing this week:

Let The Great World Spin by Colum McCann (2/2/09, Random House)
Forever by Maggie Stiefvater (7/12/11, Scholastic)
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern (9/13/11, Doubleday)

**Honestly, I have so many amazing books on my bookshelves right now, I can not decide which ones to read and/or listen to this week!  We'll see how it goes!!

Alison, I am Theresa Mavity's friend in Winnemucca. And I do consider Sheila my friend, even to I've never met her. LOL (doing It's Monday, little e-mails and I participate in her on-line book club. I'm so glad I found your blog....I love a good book blog (Mine's kinda just a hodge-podge of books, food and... whatever. )

So funny to have come across a Winnemucca link.

Have a great day. Oh...and you have some great books on your list too.

Sheila is a gem! Isn't it funny how you can run into the same person over and over again in that swarming mass of humanity?! I read Bossy pants and thought it was great and have heard it's even better on audio.
