One of the first places I guide my new readers is to my Favorites Page, which will give you a good idea of the books that get my heart pumping.
I try and review and/or feature all of the books that are being read in my house (see over there on the left?). I am an eclectic reader and will read fiction, non-fiction, memoirs, Young Adult, Middle Grade, etc. My husband, aka The Man, reads mysteries, non-fiction, and anything having to do with sports. I have two boys, ages 10 and 7, who are known to sneak a flashlight past their bedtimes to read mysteries, adventure, graphic novels and anything else I can sneak onto their nightstands. My 10 year old, however, has been known to steal books right off my review pile! (Hands off my books, kid!)
Thanks to my book blogging friends, I am also now an avid audio book listener!
Authors are my rock stars, librarians are my champions, teachers are my heroes, and Indie bookstores are my guides.
